Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscaping and grounds maintenance. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Duties:
- Digging, planting, and maintaining gardens and flower beds
- Performing lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Assisting with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Irrigating plants and ensuring proper watering schedules
- Operating power tools and hand tools for landscaping projects
- Assisting with tree care including pruning and trimming
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Providing support to other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment used in landscaping
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping projects
- Basic understanding of plant care and maintenance techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
